Monday Must-Haves: London Look

Hello my beautiful readers! Welcome back to Monday Must-Haves! As you may have noticed, I have been quite absent from the blogging world as of late. Thankfully, I have something amazing to show for it: my new Etsy store, Rompadomp! Currently featuring fall-themed greeting cards and handmade jewelry, my little shop is constantly adding new inventory! And because I love my readers so much, I’m offering you guys a special coupon code for 30% off! Just enter BLOG30 during checkout :)

And now for my fashion picks! It was recently joked that I should moved to London with my boyfriend and soak up some international culture while I’m still free to roam as I please. While the suggestion wasn’t entirely serious, I have been absolutely loving London-inspired fashion! Check out some of my favorite finds:

While I love each of these pieces individually, they make a fab looking outfit! I couldn’t help but feature the Butter London “Wellies” that I talked about briefly in my nail polish of the month post as well, such a unique chartreuse! Hope to be back and posting on a more regular basis as before! xoxo

January Ipsy Glam Bag

I know it’s almost the end of January, but I am just now finally getting around to writing about my January Ipsy Glam Bag! It really was wonderful, and I am a devoted fan all over again. If you love your Birchbox, I strongly encourage you to check out Ipsy – you might even switch over like I did!

1- Sexy Hair Spray & Play Volumizing Hairspray (travel size, $6) / 2- Josie Maran 100% Argan Oil (To Go, $14) / 3- Nailtini Straight Up Color Nail Lacquer in Bloody Mary ($13) / 4- Pacifica Tuscan Blood Orange Mini Body Butter (2.5 oz., $7) / 5- SOHO “Get a Grip” Crease Brush ($9)

I was a little disappointed with the Nailtini polish… very runny. As an Essie fanatic, I’m used to nail polish that delivers rich color without having to apply coat after coat, so I’m not sure I would buy another polish from Nailtini. However, the color is gorgeous!
The crease brush is a little floppy for my taste, although the handle has indentions that make it much easier to hold, so I did like that part.
My favorites are the body butter, volumizing hairspray, and argan oil – they have all held up really well over the course of long work days, and they all smell really nice! The argan oil is top notch, making my hair feel shiny and healthy for longer. I used the hairspray collaboratively with a lot of root teasing to achieve awesome volume for my otherwise super flat hair, and the body butter goes on so smooth and easy. Love all three of these products, and I would definitely look into either repeat buying or possibly finding slightly cheaper alternatives by the same companies!
And now for the codes – again, sorry they are so late, but most of them are good through February!

December Ipsy Glam Bag: Switching from Birchbox

I never got around to writing a blog post about my November Birchbox… I was just really disappointed with the products I was getting. I didn’t feel as though the samples were matching up well with the types of products I was hoping to try. After a little bit of research, I found the Ipsy Glam Bag service, which is very similar to Birchbox. Both only cost $10 a month, but the products are completely different. For one, every Glam Bag comes in an actual travel bag that you can use to store beauty products on the go. Another great aspect of the Glam Bag service is that you take a quiz to help them customize your samples to better suit your interests. This was the major appeal for me — I just got my Ipsy Glam Bag today, and I am already super excited about continuing my subscription with them!december ipsy glam bag
Maybe you know a lot about makeup, but maybe you don’t. Overall, I’m a lot more impressed with the quality of these products as well as the brands sampled. In addition to all of these great items, they also included a $20 promo code to be used at Just Fab and deals for each sampled company’s store (below). Although I haven’t had the chance to use all of the products yet, I have a feeling I’m going to love all of them!
