Fashion How-To: Dress for Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving is so close that I can almost taste the delicious food! I know that I turn into a little piggy around the holiday season because there seems to be a ton of delicious food around all the time. However, you don’t want to be bemoaning your outfit choice or unbuttoning your pants to make room after the feast! Why not stick with a simple, loose dress that is easy to move in (if you’re helping making dinner) and still comfortable after all of that stuffing!

I’d suggest wearing skinny jeans, tights, or leggings under all of these to keep you warm. Just make sure they’re not too tight, or you’ll be even more miserable than if you wore a bodycon dress! It’s the holidays, so don’t be afraid to add a little sparkle with your accessories – just make sure not to wear rings or loose bracelets if you’re cooking. All of the dresses I chose give you a little extra room around your tummy so that you can enjoy all that delicious food, but remember that you don’t have to eat more than your fill – don’t let grandma tell you so, either! But even more importantly, don’t forget what the holiday is really about. Be thankful for the blessings you have in your life, and help others if you have any spare time at all. Volunteering at a food bank or donating food is easy to do, and can really make a difference. Let’s try to make more people thankful for what they have this year, rather than wishing for what they need.
